Credits & Image Licenses
Ancient Code is a non-commercial, educational expedition. We argue an unconventional reading of the deep past — openly, and with every claim graded for honesty. That honesty extends to our sources.
Rights & takedown. The photographs here depict real archaeological sites and artifacts and are used for illustration and commentary. We aim to use public-domain or appropriately licensed images and to credit their sources; provenance for some images is still being confirmed.

The words are ours
All written text, the evidence grading (A grounded · C contested · S speculation · U unidentified), and the cumulative "our reading" framing are original to Ancient Code. Where we describe myth or legend, we say so and grade it as legend (S). Primary historical texts we point to — not reproduce — are listed on The Library, with links to read the originals yourself.

A note on the theory
We read myth and convergent legend as cultural memory, and we say plainly where we cross from evidence into interpretation. Nothing here is presented as settled fact beyond its grade. The mystery is honest; the hunt is the point. — Return to the expedition
